SITE PLOT ! ? :o

Ok.

So. I have many a thoughts on the site plot that is being eveloped within my brain, and many more that people have suggested. So rather than hacing them all jumbled in a mixture of blurred words/thoughts/scraps of paper/PMs, I thought I would post here and get a collective group of opinions and ideas.

So far, I myself have a had a few inspirations on the topic. You see, Rose is bringing some 'bad news' back through from 'Petes' world, which runs faster that this one does. That was the whole point of her getting through the dimensions. I know, she's gotten ditracted by the Doctor at the moment, but she'll remember eventually, once they've stopped gazing lovingly into each others eyes.

I was thinking something through the rift - it seems the obvious choice, short of darleks/cybermen- and it has been suggested a kind of shapeshifter.

But thats about it. So, we need you ideas people!

Bad Thing(s) from the rift are always good. Erm, bad. You know. Maybe something that can effect most of the city but be seen as something normal-ish--a number of similar murders, or the like. It would get the unafiiliateds involved without upsetting too many of the normal folk.

...if it is some kind of shapeshifting alien, can I play one? Pretty please?

Well, I had a thought on this (and forgive me for being longwinded, I was thinking seriously about it).

Basically, think the rift shouldn't CAUSE shapeshifter aliens more that it should cause them to change WITHOUT their permission. So like, as a precursor, the Rift is giving everyone with alien blood in them (ie; Doctor, Jack... etc) to act out in strange ways. Maybe it's because something is coming through the Rift -- that I don't know.

But I DID think it would be a fun idea. XDD

So the normal shapeshifting aliens minding their own business suddenly get urges to eat people? I like this.

I also added the element of Gremlins in the post, its just a good starting point for getting people to meet.

- Also would psychics be effected or saught after possibly in the main plot. Because in the show they have had thier uses plot wise One way this could be implimented for better or worse, could be how telepaths from a human orgrigin could be viewed as usful tools or catalists to an organsations or induviduals (human or not). The Dr who keeps mentioning the 'protentail of humanity' that the Dr seems to love. It has been noted that gifted humans have also been used for bad uses as well as good with others. Its just a thought that could be used as a factor if wanted or needed.

On a side note... the not so "nice" or "friendly" torchwoods could be part of the said "hell". It might be fun to have Evil or bad humans playing part in the story for what ever reason

An extension off Xear's idea: maybe whatever is making the aliens crazy isn't *specifically* making them crazy, but any psychics/sensitives. Should still affect all the right aliens and people, but (IMHO) makes a little more sense logically. Easier to say 'affects psychics' than 'affects anything that isn't native to Earth'.

Still don't have a cause for it, whatever the specifics. I think I'd almost rather it be an object or neutral effect than another malevolent being.

And I like the alien acting up thing. Anyways I has a cool idea I just remembered cos my mind is all over the place like that...

So the idea:
All the parallel words are crushing together one toppling on top of another the loaf of universal bread is becoming one big thing of dough. Which is why Rose is coming back/ish now back..... like?

What are we thinking of......

`shapeshifters just being a coincidence of the time. have previously gone unnoticed, but have gone flip side down and started attacking randoms etc (very Supernatural actually, if you watch the show)

`any psycics/ alien life/forms/people effected by the rift acting 'weird'. Although we need to determine exactly what wierd is.

`Something is coming through the rift, although no one, not even Rose knows what. She cae through because as the 'thing' approached, murdering things/'weirdness' got worse and they linkied to to the 'thing'.

I don't know if any of that even makes sense....
