"Well here she is!" the Doctor said as he placed his hat and coat on a coat hanger by the door. The Doctor went towards the rather high-tech console, which was composed of various touchscreens and the solid things on it were a coffee maker and a handbrake. The Doctor pressed a something on the screen and the neon lights of the TARDIS became a bright orange in color. "That ought to brighten the mood, although she's always in that dark moody color." "She's slightly damaged I'm afraid," the Doctor said as he checked the screens of the TARDIS, "She can't go time travelling and all after breaking through the walls of time and space, but she can still fly though. Her coffee maker is working though! That's a good thing. Lose everything, but not the coffee maker." The Doctor pressed a button and three espressos appeared beneath the console. The Doctor handed the cups of coffee to his former companions. The Doctor pressed a button and a comfy couch suddenly popped out of the floor. The Doctor sat on it and he looked at both of them, "What do you think? Major improvement isn't she? Much better than the dolt's TARDIS that's for sure!"

Donna strolled behind the new Doctor with Rose, unsure of what to think. Hell, she better keep this a secret or the other Doctor would freak. Really, he should be told, but like this new Doctor said. Spoilers. It would be disastrous if the other Doctor knew that he crossed his own time-line. Also, he'd be pretty furious at both Rose and herself for not telling him in the first place.
The new Doctor pointed his TARDIS keys at the ship itself, and all of a sudden, lights seemed to blink at the top along with the sound of a car alarm being disabled. Donna could only crinkle her brow, and give Rose a curious glance. But that was nothing, compared to what was inside. Giving Rose a quick shrug, she walked inside and was completely baffled at the new renovations.
She walked in slowly towards the consol, and spun around on her heel, getting a 360 degree view of the entire thing. Before she could say anything, the glowing lights went orange, illuminating the rest of the TARDIS. Then, a coffee-maker began sizzling and out came three expressos. The aroma simply calmed her senses, but she was in utter shock at the make-over. Not only that, a couch popped up from the floor and a large grin lit up on her face.
"Oh. My. GOD - " She continued to look around, as if the concept 'bigger on the inside' was new to her. This was utter maddness. The other Doctor would have a field day with this. "It's upgraded? This is....wow. Incredible! Golly, the other Doctor's gonna go mental..."

Rose wasn't sure what to think as she folled the Doctor with Donna. As the Tardis beeped like a car, she smiled a little, meeting Donna's curious glance with one of her own. How do you even renovate a time machine anyway? You couldn't exactly bring in a interior designer. They might find the whole bigger on the inside thing a little odd to begin with.
Her mouth dropped as they stepped into the cavernous blue box. Whatever vague ideas had been in her mind on the walk there, it certainly hadn't been this. The whole thing was done out in lights and touch screens, none of those random gadgets littering the console anymore. Instead, they had been replaced by what seemed to be a handbrake, and of course, a coffee machine, Rose could see as the Doctor brought up the lights in a warm orange. The trusty old hammer was even gone!
She shook her head as he handed her a cup, and cradled it in her hands, unable to stop her eyes roaming, taking in the differences. It was a completely different Tardis! "This is mad" she said, and jumped as a couch appeared from the floor. "How did you do it? Does she fly better?"

How did he do it? How did he do it? Well it involved a lot of things really. A little bit of Transcendental Physics, a dash of spice and everything nice and a press of a button and voila! The Disco Desktop theme. The Doctor stood up and headed to the console. He then smiled, "Well it actually just requires a press of a button."
"Like this," the Doctor pressed something on the screen and the TARDIS' interior disappeared and changed into its Coral Desktop Theme a moment later. It looked exactly like it was before. Organic, coral-ish and a lot of junk replaced the touchscreens he conveniently loved. "You see changing the interior is much like uhm...a desktop theme of a computer. You can change it with a flick of a button, although the coffee maker and the chair was something I've had to manually install in the package. This one, the Coral Theme, has been heavily customized by my good leather-jacking wearing self. Fantastic chap, although his successor didn't really do a good job maintaining it."
The Doctor clicked on several buttons, pulled down a lever and pushed the handbrake afterwards. The interior of the TARDIS went back to its current Disco Theme and the Doctor remarked, "I almost forgot how tedious those controls were."
"As mad and insane it can get," the Doctor said and he took a sip of his coffee afterwards, "Flies better. Less turbulence and less glitches in the system. What makes her so cool is this!"
"The Doctor input a couple of commands on the console and the lights on the walls of the TARDIS began to change into different colors constantly. Even with the 'crazy lighting, the Doctor looked discontented. The Doctor took out his trusty mallet from his pockets and whacked the screen in front of him. The song Close to You began to play and the Doctor grinned, "She may need some percussive maintenance, but her theme's the best when it comes to parties!"
The Doctor twirled Donna around and he then took off his hat and placed it on Rose's head, "Want to Cha-Cha-Cha?"

She must admit - It was an incredible sight. Compared to the old and rusty run-down version she was used to, the Doctor had done well with the TARDIS. She only wondered what convinced him in the first place, but she wasn't going to complain. She loved the new look, despite having a small part of her feeling like she missed the old version. But, he looked happy and was the main thing.
"What can I say? Ya did well - " She nodded in marvour, with a large grin on her face, "Despite how strange it is to see a new version of the TARDIS...I like it! Very, retro will all the lights, I must say..."" Her eyes kind of swivelled at all the lights, and went slightly dizzy. Before she could compose herself, the Doctor grabbed her hands, and twirled her around. Cha cha cha? Golly.
"You like parties? Definatly different to the Doctor I knew...." She grinned when he placed his hat on Rose's head.

Rose smiled a bit as the Tardis flashed back into the coral theme that she knew and loved, and she found a part of her relieved that it wasn’t all completely different. A desktop theme? It seemed odd to apply the concept to a whole ship, but then again, what wasn’t odd about the machine. She was a bit surprised that the Doctor had still not yet managed to fix the chameleon circuit. He didn’t seem the kind of man would enjoy travelling in a police box.
Besides, if it travelled with less turbulence before, it was certainly an upgrade in her books. You couldn’t deny that being a problem in the old version – the number of bruises she’d received from being tossed onto the grating floor. And perhaps less glitches meant getting to the right time and place more often. Mind you, they’d had some of their best adventures purely by accident. The Doctor had never been aiming to meet Queen Victoria, although they could have done without the werewolf!
Her head spun a little as the lights flashed, and Rose grinned as the Doctor pulled an old mallet from a pocket. “Good to see some things don’t change” she laughed, as music started throughout the machine, and he pulled Donna into a dance.

"Well you should've met my predecessor before your Doctor," the Doctor said as he placed his fedora on top of Rose's head and began to dance with them, "He loves dancing. He never did admit it though."
The Doctor then took out his wooden mallet once more from his pockets and whacked the console. The music began to change into an upbeat latino song, "Arriba!"
The Doctor began to move away from his former companions and became quite engrossed in dancing a rather 'smooth' cha-cha-cha. Suddenly inspired by Don Quixote, the Doctor took out two roses out of his pocket and clapped twice. The music in the TARDIS mellowed down into a nice jazz one and the Doctor handed a rose to each of his former companions, "I thank you for you know...joining me up in here you know."
"It's been sometime since I've had some fun," the Doctor said as he walked towards the console of the TARDIS and pressed a button. The lights suddenly went back to its sombre blue color and the Doctor faced the duo, "The thing is...things change. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse."
"But I want to ask this from both of you," the Doctor then approached his 'best friend' and his 'beloved' companion. The Doctor took a deep breth in order to stop himself from welling up in tears and said in a rather sad voice, "I want to ask for forgiveness from both of you. Please forgive me for whatever I do in the future when everything is back in place and all."
