Alight I decided to make this place to have a little place to talk about the recent who stuff. So WOM came and went ... (yes we all bit torrented it because the BBC is bloody slow with the Americas and Australia).
Waters of Mars: So I thought the episode was pretty good. I liked it to the point of the Doctor walking away and having the Time Lord flashbacks. That was brilliantly done. Then he goes back. I didn't like what RTD was doing with it. It didn't seem right, I half would preferred if he just ran away and saw the place explode from the TARDIS and we all have a boo-hoo moment. That moment when he went all "Time Lord Victorious" was simply not him. It was like RTD took the Doctor out of his converses or something to make the audience happy--- which in my personal opinion didn't really work. Other than that, when I get my butt over to Mars I will make it a goal not to drink the water for various reasons.
End of Time: This looks good from the previews. Master is blond-- I dunno what to think about that. The whole mini spoiler from Children in Need was funny and lighthearted till the Ood spoke about their nightmares. I liked that. I really did. I wonder if RTD deiced to bring in Rani to bring Master back... or what he has planned so a few more days and we can speak of this episode in more detail.
So your thoughts?

Hai Waters of Mars, I was all like wtf at the end. I mean, Timelord victorious? Actually, I think the words I used were 'he definitley needs a new companion - fast.' and then random Ood - lawl. It wasn't bad, but it could have been better. Definitely could have been better, with only four eps this year. As of End of Time, I can't wait. Although being an Aussie, I'm just going to have to. But it looks good!

I felt like RTD is taking something that should be enjoyable and squeezing the life out of it. He talks of drama and yet, this is sci-fi. I think Battlestar Gallactica took things too far with drama and now everyone wants to jump on the tragic bandwagon.
I am of a very unpopular opinion but I don't care. I want to watch these shows for escapism, which is what their intent should be. I don't want to see characters I love die, I don't want to see reality seep into it. The real world is horrible and I watch these programs to forget that for a bit.
But I'm old and what do I know.

BLUE KNOWS THE MEANING OF LIFE IS 42!
And yeah RTD is losing some of his magic. He's rather predicable cos he sets things up. Such as the Saxon posters and mentioning Mr. Saxon lightly in season three. Or setting up the whole "you song is ending" with Sigma Ood back in season four. Occasionally he does good stuff but I think Moffat is really gonna bring the magic back to the show. But erm yeah one more day folks! I just curious if Master is going to come back via Rani or his ring being the ring of Rasslion or some other means that no one has thought about.....
As for BG I only saw the old ones so I really wouldn't know ^_^
