In the depths of space, a ship happens upon a strange vessel. A woman sleeps within, a survivor, awakening after many years adrift. Her people are all but gone now, and she must seek out the others left in the universes. She must find those who helped her concoct this plan.
Something is coming.
And then, Doctor...
from somewhere in the darkness, it's beat can be heard, with the sound of salvation and destruction both. And in that instant he knows. He is not alone. The mind reels with voices; something he thought would never happen again, soft now and tenuous, but growing.
For the ordinary people of the earth, not much has changed. Torchwood is seen out and about more – still under cover as a ‘Special Ops’ branch of the police where necessary. However, trouble is brewing; who knows what might happen.
Dreadful things have come to pass, but life must go on.
