Main plot What if the last kiss between Jack and Ianto saved Ianto's life? The young Welshman died
in his lover's arms after confessing that he was in love with him. It was a war that they would never have
beaten and everyone knew that. But with his last breath, Jake's kiss released some of his energy into his
body and made Ianto beat the virus. (Day 5 of Children of Earth never happened). When Gwen, Jack and
Rhys return with Ianto's body to the storage warehouse for Torchwood 1, Jack feels as if he lost a part of
himself when he lost Ianto. The politicans handled the 456 and they returned to whatever planet they
were from, leaving a mess of things behind in their leaving. A week has passed, Jack, Gwen and Rhys were
coming back from a Weevil attack only to find that the young Welshman was standing in front of the
computers with a confused look on his face. He knew that he had died and doesn't know how he came back.
That's when Jack realizes that his kiss saved the man he loved.
