brief history:Elladorameen was loomed to replace a brilliant older sibling who had run off after he looked in the Untempered Schism. As her older brother had carried the hopes of her family of rising to a high position, these hopes now fell on Elladora to fulfill. She fell to the task when she was taken away to the Academy, where she was easily one of the most studious of her class. However, this pressure to succeed left Ellador to repress her creativity and sense of self.
When it was Ella's turn to be taken to the Schism, she knew she couldn't run: it was her very purpose in life. Whether or not she went mad or was inspired was never said, only that she stood there and looked and looked and would not move until they took her away again.
Ellador was not naturally brilliant as a child, due to her creativity being curbed at a very early age, but she was a hard worker during her days at the Academy, spending night after night deep in her studies. Her studious ways eventually paid off, as she was offered a position at the Academy. She began teaching and started to organize an archive project that would eventually be housed on the moon of Poosh, an Archive of files and displays for young TimeLords to research before they received their TARDISes. As it was meant to be her life's work, archiving planets and times and cultures, the archive was meant to take up much of the surface of Poosh. It was expected with her promising abilities in research and the favor she received from the High Council that in several hundred years she may end up a Cardinal. However, before she could start her project, the Time War occurred and she was asked instead to travel through time and find the best possible weapons to help the TimeLords win, so that the engineers could recreate them and/or expand on them. Once again Ellador did as was asked of her, though she began to hate herself for it, supplying the weapons that caused so many deaths. Other TimeLords were commissioned as well for the purpose, so that meant occasionally Ellador would have to fight one of her own kind over a weapon of massive destruction. It was a horrible experience for Ellador.
By the middle of the war, Ellador was so traumatized and disillusioned by the government and the social structures grooming her for success that she escaped the planet rather than go on her next mission for the High Council. She set the randomizer on her TARDIS to take her anywhere, and consequently ended up on Earth. She fobwatched herself into the current dominant race, which happened to be human, and has been living quite happily in Wales ever since as a primary school teacher.
Ella's history is not very well put together, as Ellador was in a hurry to go into hiding. Ella was supposed to have grown up under the care of her grandmother, then spent a semester abroad in America during her university years before returning to Wales to find a job in teaching. However, because not all of this was programmed in correctly, Ella's memories are pretty murky. Ellador tried to cover this by implementing a defense mechanism which would go off whenever Ella's thought veered too near the truth. This lead Ella's human mind to do some aggressive matrixing to make up or these problems, thus the bike incident.

weaknesses: Being fobwatched often leaves Ellador in a less-than-great predicament. As a human she is still practical and very attuned to detail, but lacks the TimeLord brain that would have allowed her to do something about the goings-on on Earth the last few years. Was she to be un-fobbed, it is uncertain how she would react to her fellow TimeLords, as she is not a terribly tender-hearted person to begin with.
secrets:She’s a TimeLord and she doesn’t know it! Also she has a great strawberry shortcake recipe that she intends to take with her to the grave.
fears: Ella has a very vague fear that wakes her up in the middle of the night, but can’t quite describe it. It’s really leftover feelings from the TimeWar.
habits: Ella spends a great deal of her spare time baking, grading tests and papers while she waits for the timer to go off. She is a bit of a homebody and is not too terribly exciting as a human.
overall personality:
At 467, Ellador was much too young to have known the rebellious free-thinkers that made up the Deca, but is old enough to know what life was like before the time war. As a TimeLord she continuously finds herself in a state of contradiction, being both the matronly teacher and the overzealous youth making up for a lost childhood. She is both gruff and silly, thoughtful and apathetic, has succumb to madness and despair but now seems to hope for some kind of new start. She is testing out a new life, one free from the horrors of the past, but as the strict rules of Gallifrey are all she has ever known, she is finding it hard to adapt to the openness of true freedom. As a human Ella has all these traits to a lesser extent, perhaps considered by her students as a bit of a mad professor type. Her constant toiling over research in her past life has now been transformed into more domestic pursuits, though she still does spend a great deal of time at the library. Ella is also much kinder than Ellador with strangers, and is a bit more trusting. Ellador doesn't lack these traits, but rather chooses to hide them upon meeting people in favor of a more professor-like persona, mostly to keep her distance from those around her. Ellador has seen the worst of many races, including her own, during her work during the Time War, and has been betrayed so many times she finds it best to avoid bestowing trust whenever possible. However, if someone proved themselves trustworthy enough, Ellador would probably open up a good deal more.

The room was shrinking. Ellador was trying very hard not to notice, but the walls were pulling in closer and closer to the the console, as if pulled there by some invisible force. This was not the time to panic. Ok, maybe it was exactly the time to panic, but that was exactly the reason she shouldn't panic. Laying on her back under the console, Ellador dug out the wires for the communicator and began to go to work changing the resonance. If the cloister bell ringing by itself wouldn't work, maybe a thousand cloister bells would.
Slowly, the one reverberating bell was joined by another, and then a third and a fourth, until the low grumbling seemed to shake the very ground. Every TARDIS was singing out a warning.
Ellador crawled out from under the console to the door, which was inches away from her now. In a moment she would have to stand on top of the console itself. Aiming her Ganymede at the lock, Ellador turned on an added pulse to boost the reverberations now shaking the TARDIS. Unable to take anymore sonic waves, the bolt shattered, and Ellador fell out onto the dirt just in time, the place she had previously been standing having now ceased to exist. Looking rather pale but not much worse for wear, Ellador managed to stand up on the shaking ground. Clods of dirt were falling from the ceiling under the thunder of the bells. The digging slaves, their mind control temporarily broken, were cowering from the falling clods or tugging at their collars in an attempt to free themselves.
"You all need to follow the path to the main entrance, then take the biggest tunnel back up to the surface. This place might not be here much longer." she told a couple of the diggers before spotting a dazed and bleeding Sebastian.
"Oi!" She shouted at him as she made her way over, leaning over him with a frown. " I leave you alone for five minutes and you get yourself smashed to bits! Get up then, we need to find Arty and get out of here."
