Something is coming. Not just to Cardiff, but to the world. For months now, Torchwood three has been getting readings way out of the ordinary on the rift, that mysterious energy source that flows throught the city, depositing alien artefacts - and aliens - where it may please. These deposites have been getting more frequent, and it's getting harder and harder for the team to clean up the mess without being noticed. They're not the only ones- over in London T1 is having just as much trouble holding their own against the sudden influx. UNIT is also in town, after readings of their own raised a red flag. The rift is also affecting resident physics, and aliens that used to carry on unnoticed and without a fuss. Why? That's what everyone's trying to find out.
But one thing that is certain - before it gets better, it's going to get worse. Rose is back through the dimensions, and she's brought bad news. Pete's world, ahead of this one, is in chaos, and no one nows how to stop it. Not even the the Doctor, stranded in Cardiff with a faulty Tardis, has any ideas. Mind you, he's a bit distracted by the return of his once friend, now enemy, the Master.
What will happen? Will disaster be averted, or will chaos reign?

The Doctor darted around the TARDIS console, flicking switches and pressing buttons. His actions got more frantic as still the machine didn't respond, and before long he'd grabbed a hammer, hanging always ready on a nearby string and whacked it several times across the control panel. When still nothing happened, he stepped back, crossing his arms.
Donna looked on nervously.
“What's wrong?” she asked, looking over his shoulder.
“She'd dead.” he said blatantly, and they both stared at their only way home.
This is where we pick up. The Doctor-Donna was never formed, the Darleks never tried to take over Earth (not yet anyway) and Rose has not made it through the dimensions.
They'd been travelling, as usual, in the TARDIS when she started to get sluggish. Assuming she simply needed a refill, they'd changed their plans and headed to Cardiff for a night on the rift. A visit to Torchwood, twelve hours and it was time to go.
But the TARDIS won't move.
She's not moving. The Doctor is working frantically to get her going again- she's more than just a ship to him. Donna's enjoying some time back on Earth, and in Jack's company while they stay with Torchwood.
But this isn't the worst of it. There's trouble brewing. Rose is on her way to warn them, but what can they do without the TARDIS? Only time will tell, while our heroes are Stuck in Time 7/6/09The Doctor and Donna are still stuck in Cardiff, but they're not the only new arrivals. An old friend of Jack's has turned up in town – Captain John Hart. Much to Ianto's disgust, it looks like he's staying. Even worse, the Master has reappeared out of no where. No one knows how he survived, and no one knows what he wants. Though judging from his past actions, it can't be good. Finally, Rose Tyler has also returned through the walls of the dimensions, to be reunited with her Doctor. But that's not the only reason. Their world is ahead of this one, and she brings bad news. The rift is wreaking havoc in their universe, and she's come through to, at the very least, try and prevent it here. But it has already begun. Psychics are acting oddly, picking up strange vibes and acting out of character. Shape shifters are beginning to go feral. People are beginning to die. And this is only the start of it. There's more to come, as it gets worse. But how can the violence be stopped? And what's behind it?
