overall personality , Elizabeth is an interesting character.
When you first meet her, you'll probably think she's young, naive and a fairly typical ditzy blonde. You're wrong
But don't worry, most people are.
Liz comes across this way, but once you spend any amount oftime with her, you'll notice several things.
First is her mind. Liz is extremelly intelligent for her age. And underling extremely. How else would she get to where she is in so little time. Most people her age are still in medical school ,adn she would be too had she not been in accelled classes here whole life. She retains information like a tank and can bring it to mind instantly. Mind you, where there's all that knowledge, there's not much street smarts. Growing up like she has, she's never really spent much time, well I guess you could say, in the real world. It's only in the last year that she's really been out on her own.
Secondly is her humour. Liz is a wicked one. It's not obvious at first, and can be quite subtle and/or sarcastic, but it's there. And it makes her brilliant fun to be arouns. Even more so when she gets on a high (on life not drugs people) and goes totally crazy.
Thirdly would be her sense of adventure, and her loyalty to her friends. She loves to get out, try knew things, and sate her thirst for knowledge. However, with this, she is also fiercely loyal, and caring for others. Why else would you become a doctor? She wasn't always planning to work for Torchwood.

mother , Anna Wright. 36. Business woman.
siblings , none.
pets , She has a gold fish named Aphrodite in her flat.
history , From day one, Elizabeth was the 'gifted' child. She grew up well, remarkably well. Her father was a high paid lawyer, vastly rich. Her mother wasn't so bad off either, a business woman with her fingers in every well paying cookie jar there was within reach. So from day one, Elizabeth was expected to follow in their footsteps. She was sent to a top private school from her kindergarten years, two years earlier than other children. she accelled too, topping classes as a straight A student right through to year twelve.
With her grades, she could do anything. She'd considered medicine, with a few other things. She like the idea of being able to help people. Her parents pushed her into it, with different ideas, ideas of her being rich and famous and successful in mind, the 'perfect' daughter. They sent her to the best of the best, halfway across the world to Harvard in the USA. Elizabeth reluctanly went. She wasn't really sure what she wanted to do, and how could she say no to this, to her parents? But leaving home for the first time and going to University in a new country is pretty daunting at 17.
In the four years it took her to get her degree, she maintained her previous image of the best of the best. However, being away from her controlling parents, being away from those confines also allowed Liz to grow into herself, finally. Rather than go back home, she decided to travel. She got her passport and set off, ending up after only a few months in Britain. Cardiff to be more precise. She liked the place, for some reason, and her parents certainly wouldn' find her here. They still didn't know where she was. She sent postcards occassionally, just enough contact to keep her off the missing persons list.
And now, she's just been offered a spot as Torchwood Three's medical officer. She has no idea what she's getting into.

roleplay sample ,
Rose wandered her way through Cardiff, trying to get her bearings again. God, it had been a while since she'd been in Cardiff. Even in her own dimension. She'd been so busy with Torchwood One she'd barely spared a thought for Cariff. Let Three handle it. They'd just get annoyed at them coming in and messing everything up anyway. We'll, they'd see it as messing.
Rose shook her head and looked around eagerly. She was sure this was it. They wouldn't have messed up te co-ordinates. No, they couldn't have. She'd checked them over herself. And this was the only other dimension she'd been too. She couldn't have ended up anywhere else, it just wouldn't have worked.
She yawned as she took in her surroundings. It had been a long few days. She'd come out in London, in the Torchwood building obviously, where she'd gone in, and had had to make her way here. The bubbly feeling in her stomach dimmed as she told herself that he wouldn't be here. The odds of that were...well, unlikely at best. He'd come though. With what was coming, he'd have to. She bit her lip as the water tower became visible. She had to warn them. It was the whole reason she'd come through in the first place.
Someone had to do it. The person that went through wouldn't be able to return, and it made sense for her to. Although it had been hard, so hard leaving Jackie and Pete. And little Tony.
As she rounded the corner, heading for the perception filter, she was struck speechless by what she saw.
No. It wasn't possible. It couldn't be. Something had gone wrong in the dimension shift, and she was loosing her marbles. Seeing what she wanted, what she needed to see most.
She ran up to the old wooden blue box, fighting the grin that was lighting up her face as she ran her hands over its worn surface. It seemed to be real. Fighting the urge to jump up and down, to scream out and throw her hands in the air, she banged eagerly on the door.
And grinned when it opened, to reveal a sorely missed familiar face.
She was just about to speak, or fling her arms around the Doctor, probably both, when he fainted dead on the floor.
"Men" she muttered, running over to his side, and slapping him gently across the cheek to bring him round. As his eyes fluttered open, she smiled, her brown eyes sparkling with happiness.
"Miss me?" she asked with a grin.
