EXTRA PLOT INFORMATION

TORCHWOOD ONE

After the Canary Bay incident, the T1 headquarters were deemed too dangerous and then abandoned. However, a small group of former members scavenged the wreckage, using what they found, and their own knowledge, to regroup the organisation. Since this, T1 has grown to a total of six members and quite an array of alien technology. They operate much the same was as their Cardiff counterpart, finding and catching aliens, and keeping the extra-terrestrial a secret from the rest of the population. This means that they are finally on better terms with Torchwood Three, working in cooperation when necessary.

TORCHWOOD TWO

Still running as normal, this branch of the organisation has minimal contact with their London counterparts, and none with the Cardiff branch.

TORCHWOOD THREE

With Gwen pregnant (but keeping it hidden) and three new members to train, T3 is finding it harder than ever to keep alien interference on the public a minimum, especially with the sudden influx on rift activity. As the experts on the ways of the rift, they are in the front line of the coming war.

TIMELORDS

With the Doctor stranded in Cardiff with a malfunctioning Tardis, and the Master shown up out of the blue – and who knows his intentions – Cardiff is starting to get crowded.

UNIT

Now UNIT doesn't normally interfere with the goings on to Torchwood, and the two organisations hardly get along, but desperate times call for desperate measures. This is why Martha Jones – who actually does like the organisation – and two other members have been sent to find out what on earth (or anywhere else) is going on with the rift. Torchwood aren't the only ones monitoring its readings after all.

TIME AGENTS

New agent Hollie has hit town, ready to stir some trouble. She travelled with John and Jack during the two years Harkness can't remember, and might just be the key to getting those memories back. But why is John so keen to have them stay forgotten, and what relevance does it have to the fall of the time agency?

TWENTY THIRD OF SEPTEMBER - 2010 PLOT UPDATES

The mysterious figure of Leo has emerged, former T3 agent, and last of her species. She wants something of Jack and Ianto, but what? And will they agree? The rift is still causing drama, and with former member Owen Harper returned out of the blue, thanks to some intervening time agents by the name of John and Hollie, things are going to get interested. The team can certainly use the help.

Meanwhile, the Tardis is still unresponsive, but the Doctor has plenty to keep him occupied, between figures from his past and Gelth spreading across the city. Maddie, and alien on the run from a tumultuous planet, is looking for him. Mickey has also appeared from Pete's world, to deliver a message to Rose and offer his help on his original planet.

Another time lord is running around, the mischievous Jester. He's raising eyebrows, much like the time agents causing trouble, drawn to the city by the latest rift activity. A recent alien attack on a school saw Ianto's real identity revealed to his friend Ella, who didn't take being lied to well. But Ianto isn't the only one with secrets, and she may not be as innocent as she appears.
