personal style , Rose will most often be seen in her trusty old jeans. They are a tight fit, but look good on her. With these she will team a nice t-shirt or jacket, and a comfortable pair of sneakers. Rose isn't one of those girls that dresses up, suffering pain just to look good. Thats just stupid. You will RARELY see her in a dress or skirt, and not even heels that often.

.
overall personality , Rose is many things.
She is prone to trouble, most often caused by herself, as she is to curious for her own good. She often wanders into things and needs help out. Mind you, travelling with the Doctor doesn't help- it provides a thousand more situations in which to get stuck. However, although she gets herself in trouble a lot, she has the quick wits to get herself out, or at least halfway out.
She tends to dive in headfirst, not only into unknown situations, but also into relationships and friendships. She falls for someone easily, although will often get bored if there isn't a deep connection there.
She's also a very compassionate person, and hates to see someone in pain, or in trouble. She'll do all she can to help, and won't leave anyone behind, or overlook someone suffering or frightened.
She's always willing to try something new, and takes it on with a laugh and a joke. Rose loves adventure, loves the new and the fresh, and believes you can't beat the adrenelin rush that pounds through your body as you find yourself trying to escape a seemingly impossible situation.
In the past few years, the ones she's been away from the Doctor, she's grown up, I suppose you could say. She was left with the reality of her situation, and took it upon herself to get Torchwood one up and running again, after the incident with the cybermen in that world. Although she did not take on a position of complete leadership (leave that for someone woh wants it, Rose would rather be out in the field) her opinion is valued highly, and the whole ordeal has led to her being a stronger, more independant person.

history ,
Rose lived an ordinary life. Her father had died a few months after she was born, so she was raised in a small South London flat by her mother Jackie Tyler. She had a boyfriend, Mickey Smith. She went to school. She was even in the choir, well, until she convinced them to all go on strike that is, and the gymnastics team. She wasn't a top achieving student, and didn't do so brilliantly on her finals.
I'm the Doctor, by the way, what's your name?
Rose.
Nice to meet you, Rose, - run for yer life!
After school she plodded along, working full time in Henriks, a large deparment store. Life was dull. Well, until one night she headed down to the basement, looking for another staff member only to be faced by a number of menacing looking, rapdily advancing shop dummies. But, luck was on her side and she was saved just in time by the doctor.
Hold on a minute! You can't just go swanning off!
Yes I can. Look. Here I am. This is me swanning off. Seeya!
From this moment on, her life would never be the same, never be normal, again.
They're just so alien. The aliens are so alien. You look at 'em, and they're alien.
She accepted the doctors invitation to travel through time and space with him in his 'ship' the TARDIS.
I'm left travelling on my own because there's no-one else.
There's me.
Together, the two of them fought Slitheen and Cybermen, saved not only the Earth, but other planets and other people, and aliens. Coming face to face with the Daleks, Rose came to the Doctors aid and broke open the TARDIS, taking the time vortex into her mind and eliminating the Doctors worst enemies.
There's something in the air, there's something coming.
What?
A storm's approaching.
They continued to travel together, until the walls between universes began to fracture, as they realised in a trip back to Earth to visit Rose's mother. Ghosts, wo emerged as cybermen and even Daleks that had hidden in the void since the time war emerged onto Earth, both sides battling for domination of the earth.
I... I love you.
Quite right too.
And I suppose... if it's my last chance to say it... Rose Tyler...
The Doctor managed to send them into the void, but Rose was locked into a parallel universe first, unable to return once the walls between dimensions was sealed.
Am I ever going to see you again?
You can't.
In the universe she now inhabited with her mother, her father (who lived in this universe all along and -obviously- never died) and Mickey, working to rebuild the London Torchwood, after the attack and escape of the Cybermen a few years earlier. But when the walls between dimensions opened up again, briefly, Rose lept at the chance, however impractical, to find the Doctor, and jumped through. Someone had to do it. They had to get the news of the future through, warn the other dimension. And Rose needed badly to go back.
Hi, you. Long time no see!
Yeah, well, I've been busy!
So now Miss Rose Tyler is back where she started, and just in time. However, she brings bad news

roleplay sample ,
Olivia skulked through the trees, biting her lip as she watched the man sitting on the gravestone only a few metres ahead of her. This was it. She had him now.
She'd been tracking this demon for days. And finally, she was sure she had him sourced out. He was alone. He was nasty, but she was pretty sure she could handle it. She hoped she could handle it.
No. She could. There wasn't room for doubt, Olivia told herself. And there wasn't. This was possibly one of the bigger, no, biggest hunts she'd been on yet, although there weren't a whole lot of them to compare to. And if she took out a demon...
Her mother would flip! That would teach her, prove that her daughter really did have what ti took.
Olivia grinned and took a deep breath, and stepped out of the trees, flicking her blonde hair, her blue eyes wide as the demon turned around.
"I-I'm sorry." she stuttered. "I just came to-to..." she gestured to one of the grave sites. She had no idea whose, but he didn't know that. Her eyes widened further in an act of innocence as he rose from his seat and stalked towards her, a nasty look in his dark blue eyes.
"I really didn't mean to disturb you." she stammered, her hand clutching at her calico shoulder bag. This was it.
"I really don't mind." the man hissed, his eyes hungry, and with that, he lunged at her, arm outstretched.
Only to fall to the ground, trapped in a Devils Trap. Thank God and Satan, she was bloody glad she'd found out about that one.
Olivia smirked. Liv One, Demon Zero. Who said she wasn't prepared? She'd drawn that trap there hours ago, hidden under the grass.
The demon hissed again, his blue eyes flicking up in his head, replaced by an unnerving black. Olivia ignored his hissing, how he slammed his fists against the invisible wall between them , and pulled out a book from her bag. It was old and work, leather bound, one she'd stolen from her mother, along with any weapons she now possessed. It also held the exorcism spell she needed.
She began to chant in Latin, watching out of the corner of her eye as her captured demon writhed and screamed.
And smiled?
Before she could demand why, a hand tore the book from her own and grabbed her around the throat.
"Need to do your research properly darling." hissed a smooth female voice. Olivia caught sight of black eyes and long brown hair as she tried to twist from the womans grip, but her efforts were fruitless. Another demon, realised Olivia as her head throbbed and her vision began to turn black around the edges, as she was forced to her knees, the womans long manicured fingernails tightening, piercing the skin of her throat. She could feel her own warm blood run from the little marks, but she didn't have enough oxygen to thrash or fight. Not even scream... .
