Hello
Things have slowed down a bit around here, and some of the threads and plots that are going are getting a little stagnant.
BUT NEVER FEAR!
To combat this, SIT is going to jump forwards two months in time. Feel free to finish up current threads, but any new threads will be taking place two months in the future. If you wish to play something out before the jump, head to the board ANYTIME.
So, two months in the future, the numbers of Gelth around Cardiff have decreased, but you will still find the occasional undead alien lurking. Please, let us know beneath this post - how has your characters lives changed in this time?

Alrighty... (me and my shadow a.k.a. Lynda)
Jack:
He's still trucking along. He's upset with Leo for moving out of Torchwood. He's dealing with Ianto siding with Leo's decision to move out of the Hub. He is also trying to deal with the realization that Owen is really alive. The Doctor had wanted to come help with Torchwood and that is also something he's trying to digest. (It was so much simpler after Alex murdered the whole team and he was alone...okay, that was harsh.)
Gwen:
Still pregnant. She's dealing with knowing how her world is going to change and not wanting to give it up. She is also dealing with Owen being around and while that makes her happy it also scares her that it could happen again. Death is final, except with Jack, but the Rift could eff your life up beyond measure.
John:
Bored with being stuck on Earth, he decides he needs to do something. He decides to become a proprietor in a club/bar/house of ill repute and a place where dirty deeds are definitely done dirt cheap. Need guns from Certigon 17? He's got them. Want a halucinogen that is only harvested from the tears of Blowfish? He can get that too. Oh yeah, and dancers.
Leo:
After moving out of the Hub she begins sharing a flat with Angela Web. Neither woman knows what/who the other really is and aren't too sussed by it. Leo is enjoying her freedom from Jack's watchful eye, remembering why she was happy all those years without him. The problem is, she's partying too much and showing up to work tired and sloppy. Of course, Jack is going to jump to conclusions.
and...
Ianto:
He believes that Leo leaving the Hub is great for her. He wishes Jack would take a page from her book and do the same. Ianto's feelings for Leo are growing stronger but he is concerned by her behaviour. He is trying to balance Jack's feelings, Leo's weirdness and Owen's reappearance AND Gwen's hormones and...quite frankly...he's being spread too thin. Top it off with a nosy sister and a demanding job and Ianto Jones may have a meltdown or three.

Rhys:
He is still dealing with a duality of happiness and worry. Gwen is still pregnant and moody. She still goes to work, which he is happy for but also desperately worried that something will happen to both her and the baby. There are new people at the Hub which Gwen has mentioned and he hasn’t met, and Owen which he isn’t sure if he is a zombie or a past self. Rhys has decided to focus on his own work for the time being to keep from retconning himself out of frustration.
Gethin Maddox:
Gethin is watching Torchwood closely. There are more of them about and they are getting in the way of finding fresh and new subjects for his experimentations. He has his eye on the one they call Leo, perhaps he will have a look inside it to see what is different. The last subjects, authorities from the school attack, are showing some promise, though one has turned to murder in the night to sate his hunger. An oversight on the effects of the gland Gethin implanted. It will be interesting to note the extent to which this policeman will go to feed his desires.
Mickey:
He is hanging out more and more with John after hours, especially since John now has a club. Just the kind of place Mickey can get kicked out of over and over again. He is still sharing a flat with Rose, which he loves but is determined not to show it. His work with Torchwood is going along well, learning the ropes and his place in the organization as tech and field op. His computers communication with the mainframe is still ongoing but he can’t decrypt it, something he has yet to tell Jack who seems spread thin at the moment.
Angela:
Finally got a job as a shop girl at a local Tesco, a bit off from the job she had hoped to get at the “Action for Children” charity. But she was still able to volunteer there and keep her work visa. She loved having an apartment with Leo, even if it meant staying out twice as late on the weekends as Leo was willing to stay out so that she could get some of her actual work done trying to find her brother’s killers.

Ava:
Ava was able to escape interrogation by Liz due to a mild oversight- and currently is still at large, taking more shows outside of the city where she knows she won't be buggered by the police. There are rumors she might be coming back to play at the new club that recently opened, as it too occasionally has run-ins with the law, but seems to be holding its own, which means sanctuary for Ava.
Ellador:
Ella has returned to teaching, having completely forgotten the incident at the school, as well as Torchwood and Ianto. The only clue any of that ever happened is the fact that her favorite pocket watch seems to have gone missing. She continues to have uneasy dreams of burning skies that keep her up at night, and sometimes now, dreams of a weird office underground, filled with things she doesn't recognize.
Ella has also been offered a position teaching history at a well-to-do private school in London, provided she can supply the proper paperwork for their mandatory background checks. Providing your background can be hard for an amnesiac, but Ella is on the case.
