It was Seth's turn to look surprised. He was turning himself in; if he had planned on evading arrest he wouldn't have told her anything in the first place. Not that he wasn't having doubts about this, oh no; he was turning himself over to the kind of group he'd tried to avoid for nineteen years. But if there was another option, he couldn't find it. And...he wasn't sure why, but he trusted Liz. Rare enough for him under normal circumstances, a bit of a miracle now. But she knew what she was doing, and this sort of thing was, well, her business. Seth watched the girl intently as she spoke, feeling a pang of remorse. This was almost harder on her than it was on him.
Seth rose as she did, nodding grimly. He picked up his almost-empty cup of tea, planning to throw it out as they exited. Save someone else cleaning it up, after all. He couldn't promise not to panic, considering his condition, but he'd go willingly as possible. Even if it was likely he was handing himself a death sentence. “Of course not,” he replied quietly. “Lead the way.”

Liz could kick herself, she really could. She wished she'd not come in here. There were plenty of cafes, and there was even a bloody smoothie bar up the road. But she had to come into Subway, and get this thing rolling, and get confessed to by someone she thought was an alright bloke, alien or not. And then he goes and does this. No. That wasn't fair. He had confessed, after all. That was a big thing to do, despite how....horrible it was that he'd done it in the first place.
She still kind of wished he hadn't though, despite her head screaming at her that he wasn't the nice guy she'd thought. Because she knew what would happen to him, once she took him back to the hub. She wasn't sure if they would kill him, or just lock him up for eternity like they did with Janet the weevil, but each was just as bad as the other. She felt sick to the stomach at the thought of either, but he'd confessed, and her hands were just as tied as his now. It wasn't a long walk back to ther hub, and it seemed to pass even quicker. In no time at all they were at the old tourist shop. She guestured for him to enter, and followed him in, slipping behind the desk to press the button that opened the hiden door in the wall, which swung wide to reveal a dark staircase. "After you" she said grimly.
[BTW, happy birthday XD]
