She still could not believe it. Donna Noble was still racked with interest. And what of the Tenth Doctor? He would surely be just as confused as Donna, because after all, if he crossed his own time-line, then for some reason he was not meant to be here. Something must have went wrong for this to happen. And the Tenth Doctor would have a field day with this.
"Two thousand, seven hundred and eighty five? No way!" Donna grinned, and slammed the table with the palm of her hand. She still felt a little bit tipsy, yet she was still as energetic as before, "Wait...How did ya get here then, Spaceman?"]
She looked at Rose, and gave her a rather comical smile. Her eyes widened at the strangeness of it all. She had ever known one Doctor, and it was the odd-ball who was as skinny as a beanpole, and wore the same old pin-striped suits with sneakers, yet he still adopted the crazy hair, glasses, and a knack for knowing all too much for his own good. Yup, this was the Doctor all right.
"God, the other Doctor would have a field day with this..."

Well isn't that just Torchwood-ish of you Rose Tyler
Rose grinned, feeling a little bit more comfortable. This man even spoke like her old Doctor. It was a little tricky to associate them as the same person, and really, they weren’t. She wasn’t sure how different his universe was. After all, the last alternate universe, and only one, that she’d had something to do with; she’d never been born. Who knew what differences there had been between the two timelines? ”What can I say?” she shrugged. “I’m turning into one of them. Jack would be proud.”
She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at his age. Over two thousand years? And she’d thought the Doctors eight hundred was impressive, and more than a little daunting. Two thousand was a lot of years. An awful lot of years.
Donna had a point though. How had the man gotten here? She smiled back at the redhead, albeit not as enthusiastically. When had her head gotten so full of worries? She never used to feel like this. She guessed it was just the wonderful fact of growing up and taking some responsibility on her shoulders. Or a lot. The fate of two worlds rested on her after all.
She just hoped that it wasn’t the dimension cannon that had let the man through. The Doctor had sealed the universes off, after all, and they had been sure the cannon would not change that. Although it wouldn’t really matter all that much would it, with the rift doing what it was. Inwardly Rose sighed, took a rather large sip of her drink and raised an eyebrow at the Future Doctor, waiting for an answer.

"Jack would be proud, Riiiight," the Doctor said sarcastically and rolled his eyes at the same time. The Doctor simply smiled at Donna's reaction at his age and he said, "Yes way. Been in this regenerated body for one thousand six hundred and eighty five years. In fact, I'm turning eighty six this January."
"It's complicated," the Doctos simply replied. The explanation is literally complicated. Probably the only one who could understand it would be his idiotic present incarnation. However, his decision changed when he saw Rose raise an eyebrow. Knowing that Donna and Rose wouldn't let it go, the Doctor sighed and began to explain, "In my timeline, there was a war. A war that was worse-no, much more worse than the Last Great Time War. It was the 'Great Paradox' War. Remember Rose what I told you about the Eternals escaping from this universe out of fear of the war itself? Well they came back exactly two thousand years later and they wanted to become the new Time Lords. Another survivor of the Time War joined forces with me as we knew that the Eternals may possess phenomenal cosmic power, but they lacked imagination. But we were proven wrong as our enemies have overcome that barrier. They broke the time lock on the Time War and you can just imagine how chaotic that war was. Everyone in existence pulled in their resources and armies to fight off the Eternals. Even the Daleks themselves allied with us. Everything seemed so right and we were about to eliminate the last of them when the Pantheon of Discord arrived."
"The Pantheon is a group of individuals with the sole purpose of wreaking chaos throughout reality itself. In a last ditch attempt to save themselves from the wrath of Time lords, Daleks and everybody else, the last Eternal and the Pantheon escaped my dimension and went into this one," the Doctor explained to both of them, "With the Eternals gone, there was no cosmic power to stop my universe from collapsing into nothingness. So I followed them with the good ol' TARDIS and broke through the walls of reality just to come here. By here, I mean a world wherein every experience I had in my past as my predecessors are intact and have been 'fixed' in time. But seeing you two stand right here and talk casually to each other without Reapers coming in to fix things, my enemies had already bamboozled the fundamentals of reality here. It's actually much more complicated to explain fully, but that is al I can say for now."
"Speaking of my former self," the Doctor told in a serious tone, "You are to never divulge any hint or idea that I came here. I may think that nothing bad will happen if we meet, but still under no circumstances you are to tell him unless I explain things to him at the right time. Do you understand?"

Donna's eyes grew wide, "...Bloody hell, spaceman, what have you done all that time?" It was quite a weird thought. More than weird, but to think that it would have been hundreds of years after their existence....she'd really hate to think of the Earth without either of them. She also wondered how many companions he would have had during that time, and a small ache in her heart felt the need to be there will him. Unfortunatly, that was physically impossible for a human.
She listened closely, and actually quietly, as the new Doctor explained the Paradox War. "...So, when is this war meant to happen, exactly? He's never mentioned anything about the Eternals to me..." She shot him a look. As if he'd leave that out? She gave him a small laugh of disbelief, "There is no way i'm gonna be telling the other Doctor about this. He might have kittens. No really, your, ah, secret is safe with me...This is unbelievable..."

Rose shook her head, feeling a that distinct headache you got as a result of to much information way to fast. This incarnation was even worse than her Doctor for it. His main flaw, she was adamant, was spouting off on a random, coplicated tangent. Mind you, it wasn't like it was a massive problem. There were worse flaws. After all, Rose normally just let her mind wander until he brought her back to her senses with a question, and he normally only needed a nod or a mmm and he'd go right back off again.
However, this long winded explantion she listened to. She didn't understand all of it, but what she did she found alarming. Bigger than the Time War? She didn't want to even imagine something like that. She'd heard the Doctor discuss the battle with such anger and fear, and he was rarely scared. Such an event to be bigger - it made her shudder.
As he asked them, well, forbade them really - which Rose had to admit, got her hackles up (she'd never been one for doing as told)- she nodded slowly. She may not like being told what to do, but she'd been warned of the effects those kinds of things could have on the universe, and none of them were in the slightest pleasant.

"It was never meant to happen and I won't let it happen to this place either," the Doctor said as he stood up and straightened his fedora. He finished his drink and looked at both of his former companions "So...I best be off then. It was a real treat seeing both of you here."
The Doctor turned away from and two and began to walk towards the door when something in his pocket beeped. The Doctor took out what seemed to be his key to his TARDIS and he smiled, "Looks like she's cooled down now."
The Doctor walked towards Rose and Donna with a smile on his face, "Fancy peeking into what the TARDIS might look like in 1,500 years?"

Donna grin's faded, when the Doctor announced his departure. It really was quite an interesting encounter, and had to swear to keep her mouth shut with her Doctor. He would certainly not like this, but, a promise is a promise.
"Leaving so soon?" She watched as he got up, and started to walk off. In turn she got up and walked to him, where she poked at his chest, "So..." her voice was low, almost to a whisper, "How long do we end up travelling for? Please tell me I don't lose my mind. You're such a handful...or were. Is. You know what i mean..."
He mentioned that the both of them can look into the future TARDIS. With a wide grin like the cheshire cat, she looked at Rose with a childish glee, "You coming Rose? This, I have to see!"

As the man - Rose was having difficulty thinking of him as the Doctor quite yet - proclaimed that it was time for him to go, she opened her mouth in protest. As odd and gruff as he was, she was enjoying his company. Once you got over the whole alternate universe two thousand years old thing anyway. And she had to admit, she had more than enough questions for the man. How could she not? Although the chances of him actually answering any of them were slim. Spoilers, as he'd probably put it. Spoilers were good sometimes, Rose believed, and she wished she could have some about her own fate. What had happened to her in this man's future? Had she finally been allowed to let stay with the Doctor, or had fate torn them apart like it had tried to so many times in the past. She wasn't even sure she wanted to know.
Apparently, Donna had the same idea in mind as she bounded after him, and pulled him aside, talking to him in a voice too low for the blonde to hear. She did hear, however, John's next words, as he invited them to see the Tardis, in its future form. Rose matched the grin of her redheaded friend as she leaped off her stool, closing the distance between them easily. "Try and stop me" she exclaimined.

"Why would I?" the Doctor said with a 'charming' smile and he placed his hat on Rose's head. The Doctor suddenly took out a digicam and took a picture of her. He instantly pocketed the camera and he said, "Looks good on you." "Now if you wouldn't mind," the Doctor said as he took his hat once more from Rose. The Doctor walked towards the door of the pub and opened it, "The TARDIS is waiting." The Doctor exited the bar and headed into the alley he exited from earlier. He saw the TARDIS in the alley and took out his TARDIS key. He aimed it at his TARDIS, which suddenly unlocked its doors with a beep much like a car. "First new feature of the TARDIS is that its now like a car," the Doctor said with a grin as he went in front of the TARDIS and opened its doors. Smoke poured out from the TARDIS and the Doctor coughed at inhaling the smoke, which dispersed afterwards. "Second thing about her is that...cough cough...well she's just arrived here much like I did." With that said and done, the Doctor entered the TARDIS and left the door open for his former companions to enter.
