Honestly, Rose. Well, my parents, then there were a bunch of wars I fought in and I was a bit of a grifter but after I met Rose, she...well, even before she made me immortal she gave me a greater gift. She showed me how to be a better man, to want to work for the greater good.
And well, your Dad was a big help there as well, even if he can be a heartless arse at times. (You're wrong, Jack. Blah-blah-blah! Vomits!)
