TORCHWOOD -Why can't we be friends?

Hello defenders of Earth!

I was talking to someone about bringing the Torchwood teams together. Wait, maybe it was in the planning thread for Dead are Rising.

Anyway, beyond the point.

I was thinking, and there;s been a little bit of discussion in plotting threads and such, about bringing the two current Torchwood teams (1 and 3) together. After all, there are zombies in the streets. Well, Gelf, but it's all merely technicalities.

I thought maybe T1 comes to Cardiff, as thats were the Gelf are at the moment. Maybe they want to help, or find out whats going on, or prevent its spreading. Maybe their here because Cardiff has a better cinema, and it's all just coincidence.

Thats what this thread is for.

Well, Jack and Gwen are already in Cardiff. Lynda says that Ianto will be his usual polite, coffee serving self to all Torchwood Branches and Gwen will be excited to meet new people and well...Jack is a jerk. I can't promise he'll be all that polite. Flirty, dirty minded and completely inappropriate, but not polite.

Of course, that is assuming they they don't call ahead and make an appointment. Also, even if they did, he'd still be a dick. He's Jack and doesn't play well with the other kids.

As one of the only reps of UNIT at the present moment I could toss in Walter and drag Maddie to toss in Phebs...

And as far as Doctor goes he won't be happy about Torchwood combining and would probably have a more lenient foot on UNIT's behalf.

I am super excited to see them meet, even if Tommy isn't. And he won't ring ahead, I can promise you that. If Jack rejects him, he'll be all 'FINE, I didn't even WANT to come here!!'.

And then his team will have to drag him back, and he'll sit in a corner sulking. Until they actually have to do something about their problems, then he'll spring into action.

And I want Tommy and the Doctor to meet so badly, and this is probably the best way for them to do that.

Well, with Bella, she'll probably be all like 'what the hell is going on' and whatever, but probably wont mind too much - she likes new people.

Jen on the other hand, well, she would be completly nervous and hoping its not the end of the world. as well as trying to keep everything on order. Although she would appreciate the travelling, even if it is the end of the world (: .

I'm keen for this, totally. liz would just be thrilled at meeting some new people, especially others that she can relate to, ie that fight aliens.

I'm keen to get this started as soon as possible. Anyone else?

My team is slowly pulling together. Oh, and I am super duper excited to start up these plots. Tom, not so much. Him and Jack are so similar that they'd explode at each other constantly. xP

I realised I ought to be more specific and when I say Nick will love this, I mean he'll initially squeal like a little girl because YAY ZOMBIES, cower from the other Torchwoods because he's a wimp and then realise, wait, zombies?! And freak out a little. Yep. My boy, the coward. Still, he might be useful if jokes or happy, calm reasoning is needed between the teams. =D

@tommy - your saving grace may be your looks. Jack is a flirt-whore. But you are TW1 and that never bodes well in his opinion. Ianto may be a bit tentative because he doesn’t have fond memories of TW1 even if you aren’t the same lot.

@dominic - Lynda says that Ianto and Dominic could possibly get along well.

She also said that Ianto may be how the two teams end up getting along. *glares at Jack*.
