~Pain, without love~ ~Pain, I can't get enough~ ~Pain, I like it rough~ ~Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all~The song blared in the headphones and he was sat enjoying the sunshine, today he wasn't angst ridden, he'd accepted that he'd be stuck here, so what? People were friendly, well most of the time, not that he needed the company of humans, they were tiny in this large universe. His brown eyes sparkled in the sun shine as he sat with a pair of baggy jeans on, an open short sleaved shirt and hands behind his head as he sat on a seat in the bay, enjoying the warmth of this planet, yes, warmth, he liked to sun, it was a life giving source if you respected it. A sigh of contentment was exhaled as he closed his eyes, thin sheets of flesh covering his brown hues from the view of the general public. He gave a quick shake of his head to get his longish hair out of his face, then decided since no one else was wanting to sit on the bench he'd take up the whole thing, so he did, he laid across it and smiled, he was very calm, serene, and content at the minute. Nothing could ruin his day, nothing at all. This morning he went for his run and did his press ups, sit ups and of course a few weights and then he had some breakfast, it was probably lunch time about now actually, he'd have to get himself something to eat in a bit, but he wasn't all that hungry at the moment. He opened one eye, surveyed the humans who were wandering around, and then closed it again, he shouldn't have to worry about people, he was harmless, well to humans he was harmless, to other more violent species he was quite volatile. But still usually harmless unless they forced him to act. So he decided to push all worries out of his head, forget them and so he laid there, empty minded at the minute, and very relaxed, almost so relaxed he could fall asleep, after all the warmth of the sun the light breeze and the sea air was so good to him, so different and calm, and he was slowly nodding off.

The Doctor was on his way back to the TARDIS. Home base, literally as the TARDIS was his home and it was his base. Smiling to himself he munched upon a bag of chips wrapped in newspaper sprinkled with malt vinegar. They were good and he was still under his allowance from Torchwood. The chips themselves were hot and melted on his tongue. The flavor seeped into his pallet and registered as something of the twenty-first century from Earth. It was so good, so hot, and salty melting into his mouth. Let’s face it the Doctor adored his chips.
Walking down the road he stopped by a man listening to music. Only the Doctor could sense something about him. Something beyond the normal sense of it being a Human. No, it was something more than a Human. He couldn’t place his finger on it. Somehow the man looked familiar as if he met him before. But where? The Doctor couldn’t figure out where he knew this man. He stopped before him watching him listening to his music as he finished off his delightful batch of chips. Then it all flooded back into his memory. This guy had to be guy who was in his TARDIS that day… yes that had to be it. Or the Doctor was fairly certain of it. His memory tended to be foggy every now and then but hey, that only came with age. Poor dear, he was going on for some nine hundred years.
“You!” The Doctor pointed at him.
“Yes that’s right, I am pointing at you. Where you the guy in my TARDIS some moons ago?” He asked. If it wasn’t the guy he would just shrug and move on acting like a lunatic or some science fiction fan boy who couldn’t help but to be a bit obsessive. Of course we all know that was not the truth of the mater but hardly ever did the Doctor’s vivid memory fail him. He was almost positive it was the same guy. It was during his sixth body—the one with the multicolored coat and bright yellow pinstriped trousers. Well maybe he was wrong, maybe that was somebody else. Oh well. The Doctor just hoped it was because then he wouldn’t feel as angsty and alone. Rose was enough of a subject for him to get him going onto the depressing mood.
For a moment he waited for a response and then popped down next to him. "Chip?"

“You!” Zeke almost jumpped out of his skin sure his music was loud but not that loud, and he just sat there blinking, hang on the aura, TIME LORD. The only word that screamed through out Ezekiel's head, this guy was one of the two he was looking for. Searching for aimlessly, wandering around this planet looking for Time lords when there was only two auras made it almost impossible and then this one just happened to find him. Instead of Ezekiel actually finding them, they found him. Ironic really.
So whilst Ezekiel sat up he took the headphones from his ears and then pointed at himself eye brows raised. As in asking if the man meant him.
“Yes that’s right, I am pointing at you. Where you the guy in my TARDIS some moons ago?”
TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimension In Space, definately a time lord, has to be not very many humans know what one of those are.[/i] The words went through his head and he blinked trying to remember if this was a time lord he'd had a previous encounter with, he couldn't really remember properly but maybe the time lord was right.
Ezekiel was about to open his mouth when the man sat down next to him.
"Chip?" Ezekiel wasn't really sure what to do.
"Sorry I'm allergic to vinegar and I can smell it from here, although it does smell really nice I found out I was allergic the wrong way and had to eat something else to stop the reaction. Flush it out of my system. You'd think after living for a fair few years I'd know what I was allergic to, but I guess my memory fails me just like everyone else of my kind, well, I say everyone else but I'm the only one on this planet since they just up and left me here stranded, you'd think they hated me." He was babbling, well rambling, not really sure how to let the man know he was an Eternal and what not, but keep it to a minimal without causing the man to probably bounce around because at the moment that was what Ezekiel was feeling. He didn't want to set the man off.
"Not sure if I was in your Time And Relative Dimension In Space but if you're a Time Lord like your aura suggests then maybe it will be okay if I tell you what I am. I'm an Eternal, we kind of live here and there, some of us used to live on Gallifrey but we've been looking for it, and can't find it. How can you miss a planet like that? I guessed it just dissappeared something must have happened but I just keep hoping that it's still out there somewhere since my parents were on that planet. I really hope nothing's happened to them because that would just tear me up inside." Ezekiel stated with a sigh it would tear him up, he'd probably cry, unlike others of his kind he had many feelings probably because he stole knowledge from those around him, and various other things. His one love in the world, knowledge.
So he sat there smelled the vinegar and then smiled, hoping to god this man was a time lord otherwise the person was probably going to report him to the authorities and he'd end up stuck in a cell for the next week or two.
"By the way my name is Ezekiel. Or Zeke for short. My parents gave me a relatively simple name since I'm the youngest in our family, i'm only a child as far as they're concerned especially since they're in their thousands, and I'm only six hundred and twenty, I think." He looked lost in thought for a second and now he just became silent. Not really knowing what else to say to the person sat next to him, what it the man said he was nuts and ran off, that was the last think Zeke wanted to do scare someone. So he just sat there and now he felt rather worried, probably something the man next to him could feel. He blinked, he wasn't sure who this man was, kind of reminded him of an old friend from a long time ago but of course that could be wrong and Ezekiel didn't trust his intuition most of the time.

Alight it wasn’t really his TARDIS as he stole it but hey, it was all good. Because in the end it became his TARDIS, now she really was his TARDIS because Gallifrey was gone. That was sort of his own fault but it wasn’t like he really had the choice. It had to go because of the Daleks; they brought the fate upon the vulnerable planet. The Doctor didn’t like to ponder in the past. It hurt so he kept running and doing what he did best save the universe and ran. He ran away and he kept on running though time and space.
“Deathly allergic or just allergic allergic? Because Slitheen are deathly allergic to vinegar--- well the chemical compound in it. CH3OOO, and I was just making sure you weren’t one of them. But I guess you’re too skinny for that. No matter, just checking.” This guy was not on clearly but he was making it clear to the fellow alien that he was on his side. Another really cool random fact of great importance (and on the same subject matter) is the Doctor was deathly allergic to aspirin but that was an another story for another day. As far as memory loss the Doctor nodded understanding he had the same problem when one lived for a long time it was hard keeping everything straight and in order. “I could drop you back home if you like.” The Doctor cut in as he could drop him back home. It wouldn’t be much of a problem. No, not at all and he really did think he knew this chap from some time ago.
Aura? The Doctor wondered what his looked like. Was it pretty bright glowing colors like you read in those books about charka and all. Or perhaps his was lacking certain amounts of each color meaning that he needed to balance his. Of course the pinstriped Time Lord did not hold his sort of time on his hands—as ironic as this sounded—so he let the topic fade away. His hearts pounded in his chest as the guy he discovered in his TARDIS that one time was the same spices and it made his mind sure it had to be him. Only lacking a name now. If he said the right name, the Doctor would have found an old lost mate of his and that really would make his day. Or at the very least be the highlight of it.
“Gallifrey is gone now. It got destroyed in the Time War. That was sort of my fault. Sorry about that but its history and it can’t ever come back.” It hurt to say it but he had to. This Eternal needed to know the truth so the Doctor told him such. “I know what you mean,” as he felt like that every day—torn up on the inside but Rose made him better. She helped with the pain.
“Zeeks? As in my Zeeky-boy?”He pulled the man into an embrace and didn’t care what the guy though he missed him. “You probably don’t remember me. I was the guy with the multicolored flock coat and blond curly hair….. The Doctor? Does that ring any bells?”

“Deathly allergic or just allergic allergic? Because Slitheen are deathly allergic to vinegar--- well the chemical compound in it. CH3OOO, and I was just making sure you weren’t one of them. But I guess you’re too skinny for that. No matter, just checking.” Ezekiel chuckled, that was amusing, at least this guy managed to make him smile through everything.
“I could drop you back home if you like.”
"I don't really have a proper home, Gallifrey was my home, or at least what I called home. Until my parents sent me off to somewhere else because I liked hanging around with time lords too much." He smiled, with a grin on his face.
"Apparently I was one of the only Eternals who managed to break away and go into the city where there was much more interesting things to learn about." He stated with a grin on his face remembering a few old friends.
“Gallifrey is gone now. It got destroyed in the Time War. That was sort of my fault. Sorry about that but its history and it can’t ever come back.” Ezekiel's smile faded, eyes widened in a bit of shock.
"I thought it might be... Since we couldn't find it..... But.... I guessed there would be a very good reason for it... Alas my mother and father are gone... I just hope it was quick." Ezekiel didn't seem all that torn up really, sure he felt a little sad, but he could get over that, he was very forgiving no matter what anyone said.
“Zeeks? As in my Zeeky-boy?” That nickname, no way, wow that was a long time ago when he was last called that, at least a couple of hundred years ago. Yet before he could respond to the question he was pulled into an embrace and he blinked, aimlessly, it felt odd.
“You probably don’t remember me. I was the guy with the multicolored flock coat and blond curly hair….. The Doctor? Does that ring any bells?”
"I kind of remember that I think I was messing around in a TARDIS when someone caught me, I was young at the time. Oh well... Hey The Doctor, an important name if I remember rightly.... Can't for the life of me remember why though.... Sorry my memory messes up a bit. Well quite a lot usually. Well if I can actually remember you then you must have made quite the impression on me." Ezekiel stated with a grin on his face before he returned the embrace, obviously very accepting, an all round nice guy unless someone got on his bad side. Then again that was the same with every person or at least what Ezekiel had seen.
"So how have you been? Where have you been? Did you know that there's another Time Lord on this planet? And do you know where I could find him as well?" Zeke finally asked a few questions of his own, a smile on his face the whole time, he didn't however know that telling the doctor that there was another of his kind on this planet was going to be somewhat bad.
