“And I’m sure you’re not weird. I mean like, what I do every evening isn’t all that interesting. You’re life has got to be more interesting than mine. I just stay at home all day. You have a job. A career. Something to look forward to every morning. Rather than just the midday soaps they put on the tele that old retired ladies watch while their husbands are out bowling or whatever they do each day. Think about it. Each day, you can go to work. I know people don’t like work and they say it’s boring or whatever, but it’s better than being jobless. You can go out every evening and the weekends with your friends or family or whoever and you don’t have to watch what you spend all the time or make friends with the barman for a free drink. Think about it like that. That you have financial freedom and that you are lucky you have a job and somewhere warm to sleep each night. Not that I don’t have a home or whatever, but some people don’t. Count yourself lucky.” He blinked, when she put it like that it made him feel kind of sorry for others. He smiled none the less.
"I guess your right." He wasn't going to tell her his secret yet, not a chance he wasn't sure if he could trust her with that.
“Thanks Ezekiel,” He smiled.
“I’ll get back to you soon,”
"A question... Are you free sometime this evening? And would you like to go out for a drink or something? If I'm going to have you as a secretary maybe then surely we should get to know eachother." He stated with a soft smile on his face, he wasn't asking her one a date or anything, he was simply asking her if she'd like to go for a friendly drink, just how much could he trust her? Humans had a bad tendancy to betray eachother, hopefully if she found out then she wouldn't go and turn him over to the governement, he didn't want to be tested on, he'd seen those kinds of movies in the past few months. Not nice.
