Some would say he was naive, others would say intelligent beyond recognition, most would say he looked like he was lost in this big world of humans and buildings.
He hardly told people his name, so of course he was a man without a name, only his bosses at work knew his real name, he just told people to call him Zeke. Ezekiel was hard for most to remember, since it was such a strange name, Zeke was closer to his real name, luckily unlike most eternals Ezekiel had a relatively short name.
Ezekiel \e-ze-kiel\ is pronounced ee-ZEE-k'-yul. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "strength of God". Biblical: Ezekiel was a prophet who was among the captives taken to Babylon at the first fall of Jerusalem; he wrote the Book of Ezekiel while in captivity.
He stood walking through the town, reading a piece of paper he'd printed off at the library. He managed to fit in quite well here and was crunching on an apple as he walked.
Messy brown hair was yanked this way and that by the current breeze, this Cardiff place was awfully breezy, he looked up to the skies, he really did look lost now, crumpling the piece of paper up he tossed it in the bin as he passed it along with the apple core.
Apples were lovely, much more juicy than the ones on his planet, those ones tasted like dust but the things that resembled apples in Gallifrey had been the best tasting things he'd ever eaten in his entire existence, that was what he and his family had been searching for. Gallifrey. Where Ezekiel grew up, and for some reason unknown to them they couldn't seem to find the planet.
They stopped here for a few minutes to relax and take a look around, they had found a signature that seemed timelordish but failed to find the source of the signature.
Now there were two, Ezekiel could damn well feel them in Cardiff so he'd made himself comfortable, unfortunately if he'd had a choice he would have gone home with his brothers and sister, but of course they just buggered off and left him here, why? Maybe to teach him a lesson about pointing out things that are best left alone, even the rest of the Eternals knew to leave Time lords well enough alone, but Ezekiel pined for his parents, for his family to be complete, only his parents ever truely accepted him for his personality. You see most eternals don't have much of a personality at all, no sense of humour, no sarcastic comments, no understanding of others emotions but Ezekiel had been very different the reason was because he used to sneak out when he was just a child, hang around with time lord children, get into a little trouble. Under statement of the year.
He stopped looked around and blinked, humans, pitiful creatures really, they were so fragile, if he really wanted to Ezekiel could break their minds completely just by over loading them with information, it was like a computer really a living computer, with an electronic pulse. To Ezekiel humans were wandering pieces of very fragile equipment, used to hold all sorts of information whether it be useful or not.
In his few months of being here he'd consumed only God knows how much information, this had given him even more of a personality, he found things funny, however he found quite odd things amusing, like horror movies, and gory deaths in films, he found those amusing, especially when the deaths were humiliating, however he never acted upon it, being of 'higher' intelligence he wouldn't hurt human beings, he couldn't, well not unless a 'friend' told him too.
A few things that Ezekiel thrived off was being praised for things he did, another was having friends, someone to talk to, someone to laugh with, and right now he had no one, so he was all alone in this world of many different people.
He stopped walking took a good look around himself before he made a somewhat confused place.
Why?... Why do humans exist?... Why is this little planet here?... What is their purpose?... They're so fragile, they'd never manage to stand through an intergalactic war, but they keep sending out messages, making noise, attracting attention...... They're either brave or stupid, I'm guessing the latter of the two. The brown haired man thought to himself as he walked again he looked like he was out of place, even humans noticed that he was a little 'different' from them.
He sighed as he took a seat on a nearby bench and looked at the ground.
They aren't comming back for me....... They've just left me here to rot....... They never did like me and now I think maybe they've severed all ties with me....... They did hate me after all...... Even I..... An Eternal being can make stupid mistakes...... The man frowned, six hundred and twenty years old and he was still just as stupid and fragile as ever, he was vulnerable, had been for the last three months, easily manipulated, easily talked to, easily gave mercy, and of course easily felt betrayed or wounded, but no matter how many times someone betrayed this Eternal being he never once closed the door on them, he forgave everyone and everything and maybe this was one of his down falls.
He was at his weakest point now, he blinked, a few stray tears rolled down his cheeks. He was home sick, wanted to be with his family. Wanted to go home, but he was stuck here and the realisation was only just setting in, he had no one to turn to, all he had was his home, and he'd probably cry himself to sleep like a big baby later.
