A pregnant TARDIS would give us a more specific reason why the Doctor can't travel, that's for sure. But whether or not we decide to actually use that is irrelevant; I just threw that it as one of those random side-effect thingies.

Yea, I'm not sure about that. But the Quinn connecting with the Tardis to banish the Gelf sounds good.

Now, I don't know of any official plot for Torchwood One but I'm sure Aiden will find this new commotion fun. For Aiden I'm sure this'll seem like another zombie video game, the poor fellow still hasn't gotten use to the weapons but he'll find this most exciting!

Well Quinn can connect to the 10th's TARDIS and summon "Death", who'd suck out all the Gelth. Now Death isn't actually summoned but 'picked' out of time. So Quinn combined to the TARDIS acts much like a Time Scoop and the 'Time Scoop' actually picked up Death at the exact moment Owen Harper fought against Death. Torchwood 3 thought they defeated Death, but the real reason Death disappeared because Death was picked out of time by Quinn harnessing the power of the TARDIS.
This would coincide with my particular solution to the Gelth problem, but would lead to bigger problems because Death on the loose. The pregnant TARDIS can't explain why the Doctor can't travel because the TARDIS was already 'broken' prior to the pregnancy.

random idea, perhaps the TARDIS has 'broken herself' because she somehow knows she has to stay here otherwise, idk the world breaks or something and she has to help quinn. either that or perhaps she is broken, but then the Doctor fixes her but then she refuses to move and puts on the 'i'm broken can't move' face.
i dont know about the defeating death problem though.
i dont know, it sounded better in my head

I think we might have some problems getting the TARDIS, well, back in the TARDIS. Who wants to be in a box and be ordered around all day? Everyone needs a holiday every now and then. Maybe the TARDIS won't let go of Quinn. That could create another adventure after the gelf are defeated.
