Donna turned around on her heel, and gave him a sympathetic nod. But before she let him say anything else, she smiled, "I'm never going to leave you, you big dunce. We'll figure it out, don't you worry." her smile was genuine, and her voice was calm. Sure, there were times when the Doctor would be furious, but Donna learn't to put up with it. But no matter how much the Doctor tended to irritate her, she never gave up on him. Ever. No matter what he must think.
She shook her head in confusion, "Rose and a pick-up truck? Am I missing something here? No, seriously, what would you like me to do? What, maybe wait it out and hopefully the TARDIS can quit being stubborn? Un-bloody-likely." She turned to leave, when another thought came to her memory, and spun back around to face the Doctor, "...Oh, and did I mention I saw Rose? Quite a coincidence, actually...'

At least Donna was still standing her ground, the Doctor on the other hand was going between feelings of sheer frustration and not really knowing what do with himself. Perhaps this was all because he was bored. The Doctor didn't know why he was doing what he was doing or even being as stubborn as he was. He felt horrible for telling Donna off to her face. That was Time Lord anger -- the wrath he thought he had gotten over but it seemed that it was still there. All bottled up inside him and Rose only managed to hide it and make him think he was better-- or maybe he was better but just didn't let it show because of the current situation.
"I hope so, I really do." he told her and then mused to himself for a moment before adding in a positive light. "No, I know we will because I'm impossible." Something about Donna made him keep going. She held their ground and kept him ticking. He needed that and without here he would be truly lost. The Doctor needed people, he couldn't go on living life being alone. He was a people person and needed them to keep going. Acknowledging her statement the Doctor began bouncing around the TARDIS as if nothing had just happened between them. "YES! A YELLOW PICKUP TRUCK and Rose!" He danced around getting excited. Perhaps a little too over the top in the drama but he was on a roll. He thought it might just work. Maybe it would and maybe it wouldn't but he felt good about this plan and seemed like a mad-scientist or a very hyper child as he bounced around the console flicking a few buttons humming to himself. The Doctor didn't think that Donna was lost and not following a thing he was ranting on about. Oh, no he just remembered how Rose opened the console panel and got the TARDIS to listen to her. Maybe Rose was back for a reason, to help him get the TARDIS running again. Maybe she wanted Rose. It seemed like a logistical idea. "Oh, you weren't there of course!" he shouted as he danced Donna around. "Drinking eh?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "I never would have guessed. I love you guys, always getting along. Your brilliant." he noted. "Just get the truck and Rose-- or Rose first cos she knows where to get the truck and will understand." He pulled her away and waved her off. "Oh and bring back some chips will you? Chips in newspaper with malt vinegar!" [/blockquote]

Donna's face lit up, even more now. Her Doctor was back, and in the state of mind she enjoyed. Bubbly, imaginative, and absolutely brilliant. Not to mention the mentality of a child. But, when she wasn't putting up with his short temper, then in all honesty, she bloody loved him to death. She clasped her hands with a large 'smack', and grinned wildly.
"Righto, then - I'm not even gonna ask why you need the truck..." She was just about to turn back, when another thought came to her, 'Oh, and don't make a habbit of this, Doctor. I'm no errand girl...OI!" All of a sudden, the Doctor grabbed her arms and began to dance her around. She was always a bad dancer, and seemed to have two left feet because she nearly toppled over. She only wished she had that much energy. Like a kid addicted to Red Bull.
"You are insane, you know that? But I still love ya, " She grinned, as the Doctor then pushed her off and she headed straight to the door. For real, this time. "Chips in newspaper, with malt vinegar...Gotcha!" With that, she left the TARDIS in complete awe, as she just witnessed the worst and the best side of the Doctor. What a day.
