overall personality ,
Robin is very shy, she prefers to keep to herself and hope other people give her the same courtesy. Of course, people will sometimes try to bug her, but she'll continue her silence until they get bored with her and go away. She manages to keep up this act by either reading her books as if they were not there in the first place, but if they are being too loud, she'll listen to any music device she can find(Her MP3 player, a radio). However, she considers this a bad habit(and a horrible way to make friends), so now that she is in Cardiff, she tries to be more friendly to other people.
When she finally opens up to someone, she will usually stay close to them. She'll help them however she can when they're in trouble, although she will still act distant towards them. There aren't many people(outside of her family) that she is very close to, but she doesn't mind. She's too busy with her books to notice.
She is fairly intelligent, but not extraordinarily so. She loves stories; any kind of story, really(Although Fantasy seems to be a favorite of her's). Her other hobbies(besides reading) are watching cartoons, playing video games, and drawing(even if she's not very good at it). But outweighing all of that; she loves music the most, the beats, the words, the way it can whisk you off just like a story, everything about it.

history ,
Robin was born in the small town of Blackview, just a few miles away from Tuscaloosa. A tiny little picturesque town surrounded mostly by woods. Her mother(Jenny) was a local, her father(Matthew) however was from Mobile, he had just moved to the town for a job at the middle school. They bought a house together, a tiny little place near the school, and decided to name the baby Robin(after her mother's favorite bird).
After about five or so years of playing with her cousins(who always seemed to enjoy throwing mud at her), Robin was enrolled in Pial Elementary School, where she spent six more years getting just above-average marks for schoolwork. Conduct was a little different; sometimes she would come home with a note from the teacher telling them she had been in a fight with some of the children. When they asked her, she told them they had been making fun of her, so she fought back. Luckily; Robin quickly learned that sometimes people don't listen, and that it was better to just leave them be.
She entered Middle school with this in mind, keeping her head low and ignoring the rest of the students. Of course her classmates thought she was a little odd; especially when gym class would roll along and all Robin would do is sit at the top of the steps and read Tolken. Still, she wasn't a complete hermit. She had two or three friends that she hung out with, even though she listened more then she spoke. As for her grades, the only class she excelled in was History. Since her father was a History teacher(although he taught a different class from Robin's), this was not surprising.
Then came High School, when all her friends moved away. Robin wasn't too distressed by it, but she still missed them. She continued her obsession with reading, becoming friends with the school Librarian, spending all her lunches with her and talking about different books. The other kids still thought she was strange, but Robin by this time taught herself to ignore the stares and whispers. It was simple dumb that Robin managed to graduate in the first place; her final math grade was horrible(she had never been good with Mathematics in the first place), but after a week of cramming at both the school library and the local one as well, she manged to pass her final Math exam with a high C.
Her parents asked her what she wanted to do, now that she was an adult, and all she did was shrug. She hadn't thought about it, maybe something about music? "I want to go to Wales" She said all of a sudden. There had been a boy in her Freshman year that she had liked that had moved to Wales, maybe she could see him? He had been pretty nice to her, nicer then most of the other kids. Besides, the United Kingdom seemed like the perfect place for her to go to. Her parents both agreed that seeing the world would do her good, and decided to let her stay in Wales for one year.(It also helped that Matthew had a sister in Cardiff that could look after her).
So, a month later Robin stepped off of her plane. Her parents had given her the keys to her aunt's house out in the countryside of Cardiff, and she had decided to get a job at a local record store. She took a deep breath and smiled to herself; what could go wrong?

roleplay sample ,
Chris gave a big yawn and walked into the kitchen, scratching the back of his aching head. God, did he head hurt, had he been drinking last night? Well, it was either that or someone had turned to flood-lights on outside, there was no way it was that bright outside! He shut her eyes and frowned, something wasn't right in the room. He took a sniff of the air and gave a little gag. It smelled like smoke in here! Helen wasn't cooking, was she? He opened one brown eye and stared at the island in the middle of the kitchen. There was no one there besides him.
He took a careful step towards the stove, looking around with his lone open eye. His balance wasn't at his best, but at least he wasn't falling. "Helen, Jenny?" He asked, realizing how groggy he sounded, like a pirate or something. A zombie pirate, maybe. He took another look around, the room wasn't so bright anymore, so he risked opening her other eye. It still hurt his eyes, but not as badly as before. "Jenny?" He said again, trying to keep his voice coherent and loud. Where in the name of Rassilion were they? He went towards the table and fell onto one of the chairs, putting his elbows down on the table and wrapped his arms around his head.
So this is what a hangover felt like...'Hell' was the only word in the English language for it. He really hoped the two girls were still asleep, and that he hadn't woke them up. The last thing he needed right now was sound, much less noise.
"I'm going to kill Jack..." He muttered into his forearm.
