' Superheroes don't exist
[/color][/i]What was once a truth is now just legend.
Super heroes did in fact exist at one point, they were much more than just legend, that was until the people of the world shouted out "NO MORE!" Villains would rise, heroes would fix the problem and leave the regulars to pay for and clean up the mess. So all heroes were forced into hiding or forced to give up their powers. By the time the eighties rolled around supposedly the last of the supers died in a fight against a villain, leaving the world with an answer.to superpowers.
Nature has a way of coming back with a vengeance
Despite what everyone thought the Supers weren't gone for good. They are back and growing in number. The 'cure' created back then did not remove the gene for super abilities, and in response the American government enacted a registration act for all supers. The question is why is every super that registered is vanishing, and any who refuses to register an enemy of the state? In come the Super Power Restriction Unit, SPRU for short. They are a special forces unit comprised of both regular people and supers it was created to search out the super threat.
They tell us it's all over, and we listen blindly
We are told that registration is a good thing and many believe it. Neighbors are turning in neighbors, friends turning in friends and even families are turning in each other. None are safe seeing as those registered are quietly disappearing. So the question is how well do you really know what your neighbors do behind closed doors, or even weather you have developing abilities yourself so you may find yourself saying that it is...
