One such organization is the Central For Transtemporal Displacement, also known as Central, which polices time and space around the Temporal Reality (TR) of Earth version 125.0121. To do so, Central gives the Agents a personal time traveling device known as the Chronocrone.
Central has placed Agents all across the various Historical Periods in order to prevent unwanted and unlawful tampering with time. Beings capable of traveling through time at their own whim, without the need of equipment, ships or any other device but the sheer strength of their wills. These are the Transients.
