These are the same as the rules of most RPGs.
1.Pro-boards now has to be a Pg-13 rating. Do not promote sex, drugs or alcohol in your threads. If your character's are going all the way, it MUST fade to black. They can have alcohol, but do not promote it. There can be knowledge of drugs, but don't promote and detail it. This is not our rule, it's a pro-boards rule. Disobeying could mean the deletion of the board. It will definitley mean your own suspension. We just can't risk it.
2. Don't Rp until your character is approved.
3. No John-Does/Mary-sues ( characters that are flawless). Everyone, i repeat everyone has flaws, and everyone loses. Besides, there's no drama when your character is perfect. And how are you supposed to RP without drama.
4. Listen to the authorities. we have more idea what goes on than you, and frankly, we're in charge. So don't argue with moderators or administration if you want to keep your account active. I say that in the nicest possible way. We really are pleasant people. (:
5. Be reasonable with your number of character, and don't take on more than you can handle. Better to have one really active one than several inactive.
6. Inactive cannons will be (after several warnings) put back up for adoption. They're just too vital to the plot and to the site to be sitting there wasting away. I don't like switching the rper of cannons, so if you don't think you'll be able to keep active, maybe try for an original, or an original cannon instead.
7. There isn't a post minumum, but no one liners, and try to average two paragraphs. We'll let you know if your not posting enough. Word counts annoy me, and I find the best thing is to match the person you're roleplaying with. You have to admit it's a pain when you churn out a 600 word post every time, and it's met with three lines.
8. Have fun and keep reality (well, whoniverse reality) in mind. Now go, enjoy!
